Guiding a JV partner though complex negotiations for a first-of-a-kind carbon capture project.

The client needed an experienced Legal Project Manager to manage the interfaces between its internal stakeholders and other project advisors, and its joint venture partner and the project’s magic circle lawyers.

Maven Radd provided an experienced Legal Project Manager, who also had direct experience of similar carbon capture technology projects.  Working closely with the Head of Legal and the client’s external lawyers, Maven Radd supported the legal and commercial negotiations which underpinned the collaboration with the clean energy technology provider and helped the client navigate the various and challenging issues in the planning and development phase of the project.

Maven Radd’s support to this complex strategic project helped to alleviate pressure on the client’s in-house Legal team, its Commercial team, and the external legal advisors.  The effective communication lines set up by the Maven Radd lawyer also ensured a smoother decision making and approval process for the client.
